Explainer: Storing CO2 in the subsurface

The earth is warming up and CO² emissions have to come down. That's not happening very fast and in the meantime we do have too much CO² in the atmosphere. What if you could store that in the subsurface, under the North Sea? Geologist Anne Pluymakers (TU Delft) explains how to do that safely - without earthquakes or leaks.
